As an Ayurveda Counselor, this simple exploration is an excellent foundational tool for me and my clients to determine the best approach to nutrition and lifestyle– so we can maximize our wellbeing and enjoy life to the fullest. Knowing your baseline constitution –(i.e., Do you have mainly fire, water, air, ether, or earth elements in your body and mind?)–can give you clues into which dosha is likely to show up for you (vata, pitta, or kapha). Then you can balance your imbalances with the proper food choices, herbal remedies, yoga poses, breathing and meditation practices to suit your needs!
